Men’s Residential Drug & Alcohol Program

Sunrise Ranch offers high-quality drug & alcohol programs in Riverside, CA. To best serve our clients, Sunrise also provides male-specific treatment programming at Sunrise’s main campus in Southern California.

Addiction Treatment Program Designed for Men

The Sunrise Men’s Program is designed to help men, aged 18 and older, overcome the chemical dependency concerns that they are battling. By blending 12-Step recovery programs, group therapy, and individual therapy sessions, our programming can help clients come to understand their disease, accept it, and then take responsibility for their journey to addiction recovery.

Significant life changes take time and hard work. At Sunrise Ranch, we recognize this and have therefore designed our programming to meet men where they are at in their recovery so that they can make these changes in a supportive environment that is truly conducive to healing. Making these changes involves working through the pain, embarrassment, anger, and fear surrounding an addiction that can ultimately lead to relapsing. From the day that our male clients are admitted into programming, they begin developing the skills necessary to achieve sobriety and maintain lasting recovery.

Our 30-day Men’s Program provides a highly structured and supportive environment where male clients can benefit not only from the support of caring and trained professionals, but also from the support and encouragement of other men who are facing similar challenges. The specific programming offered is tailored to meet each client’s unique needs, while also addressing the issues that are unique to males in general.

Program Overview

At Sunrise Ranch, our experience has taught us that one of the most effective tools used to achieve lasting recovery is the supportive network of 12-Step programs. For this reason, we have incorporated 12-Step interventions into our overall programming. In addition to the therapeutic milieu held as part of residential programming, men will also attend 12-Step meetings in the community. Additionally, 12-Step meetings will also occur on our campus, which are attended by other individuals in the Alcoholic Anonymous community. Our highly skilled staff members, many of whom are in recovery themselves, can share their special insights into the healing process, providing men with the added encouragement and support that they need during their recovery journey. Working as a team, they will create an environment in which clients begin to understand, address, and recover from a wide range of personal issues that have been affected by the presence of an addiction, including things such as family relationships, social relationships, occupational functioning, physical health, and spirituality.

Features of Sunrise Men’s Program include:

  • Onsite detoxification
  • Medication management
  • Individual therapy
  • Family therapy
  • Group therapy
  • 12-Step interventions
  • Recovery lectures
  • Addiction workshops
  • Alumni association

If you or a man in your life would benefit from the gender-specific services offered through Sunrise’s Men’s Program, please do not hesitate to contact us today. Here, sobriety can be achieved and lives can be transformed.

Thanks to Sunrise Recovery Ranch, my daughter was able to get the lasting recovery she deserved from her addiction and her co-occurring mental health disorder. I am super grateful!
